The working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Ms. Vu Thi Giang Huong - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded scholarships to students in especially difficult circumstances who are children of union members, workers, laborers, and women in difficult circumstances in border communes in An Giang province.
This is an activity in a series of events of the program "Accompanying women on the border" in 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Accompanying her were Ms. Tran Thu Phuong - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Lu Thi Kim Thuy - Vice President of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, Ms. Vo Mong Lam Tan - Deputy Head of the Risk Management Department, Vice President of the BIDV Trade Union, An Giang Province Branch.
According to the plan, the delegation went to the location to present 120 scholarships to students studying at the primary, secondary and high school levels in Tri Ton district and Tinh Bien town, each locality received 60 scholarships.
It is known that each scholarship is worth 1 million VND in cash sponsored by the Trade Union of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
