Trung Hanh Pagoda is officially called Hung Khanh Tu, located in Dang Lam ward, Hai An district, Hai Phong. Not only famous for its unique and ancient architecture, Trung Hanh Pagoda is also famous for possessing a system of ancient trees hundreds of years old, notably the row of rice trees in the pagoda grounds.
On both sides of the pagoda's three-door gate are two cotton trees over 100 m high, with a trunk diameter of about 2-3 meters, bearing the traces of time. After hundreds of years, the weather and storms, the two "old men" of rice are still standing tall, perched at the crossroads, reaching out hundreds of meters wide, giving shade to the pagoda yard.
