UFO in the US: What do scientists say?

Anh Vũ |

The US government and scientists are steadily steadily steadily steadily steadily steadily stead the research on UFO and provide more explanations for the mysterious phenomenon.

According to Space.com, the existence of UFO cannot be denied because there are many cases observed in the sky that humans cannot determine. But that does not mean that they are all humans.

Explanation from the US government

The US government explained that Roswell debris in 1947 actually came from a high-altitude hot air balloon transported by the US military as part of the Mogul Project, a covert program to seek evidence of Soviet nuclear bomb testing. And the Phoenix Lights in 1997 may have been due to the plane witnessing a military fireworks display.

The story of being kidnapped by planets is more complicated, because they tend to be related to psychological factors. But some studies show that at least some cases of self-admitting kidnapping can be explained by the phenomenon Lucid Dream - a strange sleeping state in which people can control their dreams.

The Blue Book project carefully researched most of the 12,600 cases of UFO observations. The project's report describes them as mostly natural phenomena such as clouds, stars and bright planets. Air Force researchers could not explain the 701 encounters, but they concluded that there was no evidence of other world technology or a threat to national security.

Investigators stressed that more data is needed to understand the unidentified flying object. These cases can be explained in different ways, such as strange and unexplainable movements that "can be the result of sensory errors, forged images or poor observer perceptions and need to be studied strictly," the report stated.

According to the US press, advanced technology developed by neighboring countries is another potential cause. If foreign technology is indeed behind some of these scenarios, the flying object is unlikely to "represent a national security challenge," the report added.

This possibility has prompted the US military to consider the issue more seriously than ever. For example, in 2019, the US Navy officiated its UFO reporting guidelines, which the revised version could remove much of the long-standing discrimination related to UFO.

The 2021 assessment of the US government does not clearly mention the possibility of planets; it is grouped together in a "different" list that can explain everything. It can be said that paintings of UFO, regardless of the era in which they were painted, tend to depict objects in the form of blurred spots.

What do scientists say?

"If the planets were here, they would be the best visitors ever, because they never do anything," said Dr. Seth Shostak, a senior award-winning astronomer at the Center for extra-terrestrian Intelligence Search in Mountain View, California. "They just move around, don't solve the problem of climate change and don't steal our molypden."

There are growing explanations for such events, including the possibility of planets. In July 2021, astronomer Harvard avi Loeb and his colleagues announced a project called Galileo, which will search for evidence of future Earth cultures using a network of new lunar systems around the world.

Among other targets, the Galileo Project will try to determine the true nature of unidentified flying objects and exotic bodies such as Oumuamua - the first star-based object ever observed in our solar system.

In recent years, astronomers have known that about 20 out of 200 billion stars in the Galaxy Strip may be in the region that can be habitable. And a world does not have to be in a livable area to have livable environments. Many moons in our solar system, such as Mars' Europa and Mars' Enceladus, have giant oceans beneath their ice shells.

With the recent discovery of habitable extra-terrestrial planets with potential for life beyond Earth, the Galileo Project emphasizes that humans cannot ignore the possible existence of intelligent intelligence beyond Earth, Loeb said in a statement in July 2021.

Sciences should not dismiss potential explanations for people on Earth due to social discrimination or cultural preferences, he added. "Now we have to 'view the new way through the stars' in both literature and shadow.'
