Phu Yen - After nearly ten days missing while diving, the body of a male diver in Binh Dinh was found on the coast of Song Cau town.

On the morning of April 7, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of the People's Committee of Song Cau town (Phu Yen) said that people had just discovered a male body wearing a diver's clothing drifting ashore in the locality.

According to initial information, at around 5:10 a.m. the same day, the victim's body was discovered by locals while drifting on Tu Nham beach (Xuan Thinh commune, Song Cau town).

Through verification, the victim's name was Dinh T (born in 2001, residing in Binh Dinh province), specializing in diving and trading fishing gear and diving equipment.

"At around 6am on March 29, T went to the beach in My An commune (Phu My district, Binh Dinh) and sank and went missing. After many days, T's body drifted ashore in the locality. Currently, T's family has come to identify and carry out procedures to bring the body back to his hometown for burial," said the leader of Song Cau town.

Previously, on the afternoon of April 1, people also discovered another body drifting ashore in Phu Yen.

Specifically, in Hoa Hiep Nam ward (Dong Hoa town, Phu Yen), people discovered part of a human body on the beach, so they reported it to the authorities.

Upon receiving the report, professional units of Phu Yen Provincial Police and forensic doctors were present at the scene, conducting an autopsy and initial investigation.

The results of the autopsy determined that the body was a male, who had died about a month ago. The body was no longer intact, not wearing clothes and was in a state of severe decomposition.

After completing the autopsy, the body was handed over to the local authorities for burial.
