The journey of more than 1,000 km is not only a geographical distance, but also a test of seriousness when both actively seek a sustainable relationship.
The female character is Pham Thuy Duong (born in 1991, from Ninh Binh), currently working as an internal controller in the financial - accounting segment in Hanoi. In the introduction, Thuy Duong creates sympathy with her calm demeanor, coherent way of speaking and just enough confidence.
She shared that she has been independent in Hanoi for more than 10 years, recognizing her strengths as being positive, loving life, caring about everyone and loving work.
Thuy Duong's weakness is "very trusting" and "afraid of separation", a detail showing that she is introverted, emotional but also carries injuries, cautious before entering marriage.
MC Thanh Van was particularly impressed when she learned that Thuy Duong has a habit of writing poetry and sent a poem to the program as a discreet expression of her feelings.
The male character introduced himself as Van Nam (35 years old, from Hanoi). Appearing with a somewhat confused appearance, Mr. Nam admitted that he was "a bit nervous" when entering the program. When discussing his views on love, Mr. Nam recounted that he had two relationships, one in his youth and one short-lived in 2018. From 2025 to now, he is still single, admitting to being "timide" and "too much", so sometimes he is disadvantaged.
On the opposite side, Thuy Duong shared a noteworthy story when she was in her fourth year of university, she once wrote a letter to her "future lover" (that is, the imaginary lover), telling her to wait 8-9 years for her to study and work stably before she was ready to seek love.
She frankly talked about her fear of entering marriage, but also believes that challenges will bring "sweet fruits", the important thing is that the two people are brave to accompany each other.
The meeting was pushed to a climax in the curtain opening, gift-giving and private lunch. Thuy Duong called her mother, sharing her initial impression of the other person's sincerity.
