For grade 10, the school enrolls 440 students (an increase of 40 students compared to last year). Students must achieve a High or higher level of academic performance and a Good level of training in all 4 years of junior high school; achieving an average score for the entire 9th grade of 3 subjects: Math, Literature, English from 6.5 or higher.
Compared to 2024, this year the school abandoned the direct admission method and admitted the results of the 10th grade public entrance exam of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, only the form of examination according to the school's own subject. Candidates who won the first prize for excellent students at the provincial level were not directly recruited but had to take their own exam questions.
The school's only method of entering grade 10 is the entrance exam for 3 subjects: Math, Literature, English, the main content in the grade 9 program.
In which, the Literature exam has a time of 120 minutes (tester); 90 minutes of Math (tester combined with essay); 60-minute English exam (tester combined with essay). The 10th grade entrance exam schedule on June 14 and June 26 will announce the standard scores.
Admission score = Literature score + Math score + English score.
10th graders at the school, in addition to 8 subjects and compulsory activities according to the program of the Ministry of Education and Training, students will be able to choose 1 of 4 combinations according to the school's regulations.
The school will base on the students' wishes to register for the group and entrance exam scores, personnel conditions, and facilities of the school to classify. Last year, the 10th grade admission rate was over 1.10.
For grade 6, the school recruited 320 quotas, an increase of 50 quotas compared to last year. The admission method is to assess students' abilities in writing with 3 subjects: Math (45 minutes), Vietnamese (45 minutes), English (30 minutes); the test is an objective multiple-choice test combined with an essay; the main test content is the 5th grade program.
The capacity assessment schedule is the morning of May 31. According to the announcement of the school on June 10, the admission scores and instructions will be announced.
Competency assessment score = Math score + Vietnamese score + English score + incentive score (if any). Last year, the 6th grade competition rate was more than 1/20.
