On April 12, speaking with reporters, Mr. Phan Van Giap - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Ky district (Nghe An) said that the district has temporarily suspended the recruitment of 16 civil servants in the education sector.
" Recruitment is carried out in accordance with the process, starting from the needs of educational institutions, needing teachers and staff to serve the common cause. Since December 2024, Tan Ky district has had a policy of recruiting the above civil servants. After having documents allowing recruitment, the district has implemented the correct process, and has now completed the preliminary selection process" - Mr. Phan Van Giap said.
According to the Chairman of Tan Ky District People's Committee, after receiving some opinions from public opinion and new documents from the Central Government and Nghe An province, the district has temporarily suspended recruitment to study further regulations and seek opinions from competent authorities.
Previously, on February 20, 2025, the People's Committee of Tan Ky district (Nghe An) issued a notice of recruitment for 16 civil servants in the education sector in 2025 under the form of recruitment. The district will recruit 5 Grade IV health workers for preschool education, 5 Grade III teachers for preschool education, 4 Grade III foreign language teachers for primary education, 1 Grade IV IT teacher and 1 Grade III technology teacher for secondary education.
On March 10, 2025, Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu, signed Official Letter No. 3403-CV.TU on the personnel work policy to reorganize the apparatus.
According to this document, in the case of recruitment and transfer of civil servants in the education - training and health sectors at the district level that have been approved by competent authorities before March 7, 2025, it will continue to be implemented. In case of needing recruitment after March 7, 2025, it must report to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for approval before implementation.
Thus, the recruitment of 16 education officials of Tan Ky district has been approved by competent authorities before March 7, 2025, not subject to recruitment suspension.
However, the district is currently suspending recruitment to cautiously review and seek opinions from superiors to ensure the rights of candidates.
