This is one of the activities in the 2025 Cooperative Action Month and the 2025 Cooperative International Year launched by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
President of the Vietnam Cooperative Union - Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van said that in order to honor pioneering collectives in collective economic innovation and development, the Vietnam Cooperative Union has voted and will award the Cooperative Star Award 2025 (CoopStar Awards 2025) to 100 typical cooperatives nationwide.
The award aims at humane and creative cooperative business models, contributing to social progress. This is an opportunity to recognize the self-reliance and efforts to overcome difficulties of the cooperative community and spread effective and sustainable development models in the Cooperative Action Month and the 2025 Cooperative International Year.
President of the Vietnam Cooperative Union - Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van shared: "CoopStar Awards 2025 is an opportunity for the cooperative community to be honored worthyly, affirming the position and strong vitality of the cooperative economic model".
Among the cooperatives honored this year are Viet Cuong Millet Cooperative, Tra Son Dung Cooperative (Thai Nguyen), Chien Thang Cooperative, Minh Truong Wood Furniture Cooperative (Bac Ninh), Ngan Dua Cooperative, Vinh Cuong Cooperative (Bac Lieu), 118 Cooperative (Cao Bang) ... which are typical bright spots for the innovation of the collective economy.
During the 2025 Cooperative Action Month, many outstanding activities will be organized such as: promoting policies and laws on collective economic development (KTTT), cooperatives; honoring 100 typical cooperatives through the "Co-op Star Awards 2025" award; supporting cooperatives to improve their capacity to access capital and connect trade; surveying and exchanging experiences at typical cooperatives.
In particular, the 2025 National Cooperative Forum with the theme "Converting green production for sustainable development" will be a place for policymakers, businesses, experts and cooperatives to share experiences, propose solutions to promote green production, sustainable development and complete the legal corridor for the IT sector and cooperatives.
