The Indian Navy launched the INS Visakhapatnam, one of four stealth guided missile destroyers under Project 15B, at the naval wharf in Mumbai on November 21. The Visakhapatnam ship can accommodate a crew of 312 people, have an operating range of 4,000 nautical miles and can carry out missions lasting up to 42 days. In addition to modern weapons and missiles, the ship is equipped with two more helicopters to further expand its range.
