Many motorbike models increase in price
In the context of the motorbike market entering its peak after the holiday season, the selling prices of many models in Vietnam are recording a significant increase in April 2025.
Leading this price adjustment is Honda's scooter models such as Vision, Lead and Air Blade, with increases ranging from several hundred thousand to millions of VND per vehicle.
This is a rather surprising development when the market has just gone through a long period of maintaining a stable price level, even showing signs of a slight decrease in some segments.
Recorded in Hanoi, the Honda Vision 2025 model, a popular scooter line, is having an increase in price from 700,000 to more than 1.5 million VND depending on the version.
The gray and dark black sports version has an actual selling price of 41.6 million VND to 42 million VND, while the special version ranges around 39.5 to 41.1 million VND, significantly higher than the suggested price.
Along with Vision, Honda Lead 2025 also recorded a notable price increase. The suggested prices of the versions currently range from 39.5 million to 45.6 million VND, while the dealer price has increased to 41 to 48 million VND.
In Hanoi alone, the actual rolling price of the standard version is at 47.2 million VND, the high-end version is up to 51.5 million VND and the special version with ABS brakes peaked at 54.5 million VND. Compared to last month, this is an average increase of 1.5 to 2 million VND per version.
Meanwhile, Honda's high-end sports scooter line Air Blade 160 is no exception. The high-end version has now increased by nearly 2 million VND, sold by dealers for nearly 64 million VND.
