U17 Vietnam will face U17 Japan in the second round of the group stage of the 2025 U17 Asian Cup.
In the opening match, U17 Vietnam had a commendable performance against U17 Australia. Coach Cristiano Roland's students conceded a goal at the end of the first half, but then had an equalizer at the beginning of the second half to earn an important point.
The next opponent of U17 Vietnam is U17 Japan, which is much stronger. The proof is that they easily defeated U17 UAE with a score of 4-1 in the first match.
The cherry blossom team is a strong candidate for the top spot in Group B. Although it only gathered at the end of March, coach Hiroyama Nozomi and his team did not take much time to get into the mood.
