On 5.4, Mr. Le Xuan Thai - Chairman of the Trade Union of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) said that in 2025, there were many important events of the country, not only marking efforts to accomplish the 5 -year plan goals in the period of 2021-2025 but also the year to welcome the Party Congress at all levels, towards the XIV National Delegation Congress of the 11th Party of the Party. Especially, the great event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the construction, development and lighting of EVNSPC (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
In the context of the economy continuing to recover and develop, the demand for loads increasing, ensuring stable, safe and efficient power supply is a top priority of EVNSPC, in order to meet enough electricity for socio-economic development and people's lives.
Therefore, EVNSPC leaders and trade unions launched an emulation movement towards the goal of excellently completing the tasks assigned by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), ensuring safe and continuous power supply for socio-economic development and people's daily life; reducing power grid incidents, improving power supply reliability and reducing power losses.
With the slogan "racing for safe operation, ensuring power supply to achieve achievements to welcome Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of Delegates" the movement will be launched to all units under EVNSPC from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
The emphasis of the emulation content is on safe operation, incident reduction, improving power supply reliability and reducing power loss, with specific and clear practical content closely following assigned economic and technical targets to complete according to requirements. The movement also sets out the principle of ensuring that during the emulation period, units must manage and operate the power grid safely and effectively, improve power quality, provide stable electricity, and meet the requirements of socio-economic development.
Emulation indicators focus on 3 key indicators including: Reducing power losses; Reliability of power supply and 110kV incident resistance.
According to Mr. Le Xuan Thai, this is the third time in the beginning of 2025 until now, the leaders and Union of EVNSPC have launched the emulation, before the General Director and the Standing Committee of the EVNSPC Trade Union have issued the Instruction of the Joint Venture 889.CTLT-EVNSPC-CD to launch the emulation movement "Completing the electricity of 50 110kV power grid works" before April 30, 2025. Next is the Joint Directive 1942/CTLT-EVNSPC-CD to launch the emulation movement to successfully carry out the tasks in the first 6 months of 2025, which focuses on construction investment in site clearance, construction, electricity, disbursement and settlement of works.
