Thach That District Labor Federation is a typical example of cultural and sports activities in the Capital's Civil Council. Over the past years, along with the socio -economic development, the cultural and sports movement at the level of Thach That district college has made strong and comprehensive developments, attracting a large number of union members and employees of all ages to participate, together to promote the cultural and sports movement in the new period in association with the implementation of the movement "The entire people unite to build cultural life", build a "cultural and cultural unit". In fact, the district Labor Federation has many innovations in directing the implementation of cultural and sports activities to bring joy, excitement and create solidarity between colleges and employees.
In 2024, the district union organized nearly 400 sports activities, with nearly 5,000 athletes participating. A typical example is the Thach That District Labor Union Sports Festival with more than 1,200 athletes competing in the sports of tug of war, table tennis, badminton, etc.
According to Ms. Le Thi Huong - Vice President of the Thach That District Labor Federation - in order for the sports movement to spread and attract union members and workers, the attention to investing in courtyards and training locations is also focused on by leaders of agencies and units, especially ensuring that depending on age, preferences and time frame so that each union member and worker can choose suitable sports for themselves such as football, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, pickleball, folk dance...
These activities help union members and employees relieve stress and fatigue after working days and weeks, while creating a strong bond of solidarity, exchange, and sharing to balance life together in the best way possible. Especially through sports activities organized by the Union, the awareness of physical training to protect the health of union members and workers is increasingly improved.
Accelerate from the grassroots level to serve union members and workers
To attract cultural and sports activities and attract a large number of union members and workers, the city's trade unions at all levels have proactively developed programs and plans to focus on directing and coordinating the implementation of cultural, artistic and sports activities from the grassroots level to the City. These activities take place with a variety of content and forms, attracting a large number of employees to participate.
The mass sports movement is promoted from the grassroots level. In particular, focusing on organizing activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, the anniversary and big holidays of the Capital and the country, contributing to actively building and developing the body training movement, improving the cultural life, creating a joyful atmosphere to start the spirit of the CNVCC.
It is known that in the coming time, the City Labor Federation promotes cultural and artistic activities, physical training and sports in employees to celebrate important political events of the Capital and the country with the motto of facilities, serving union members and employees; Create a healthy, useful playground, improve the spiritual cultural life for the Capital's staff.
In particular, continue to effectively implement Directive No. 52-CT/TW of the Secretariat on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in improving the spiritual life of workers in industrial parks and export processing zones". Coordinate with employers to build a healthy cultural environment in agencies, units, and enterprises; organize cultural, artistic, physical education, and sports activities at the grassroots level.
