HCMC plans to clear 2,452 households to expand 4 gateway roads
On the morning of April 4, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City met with relevant districts to review preparations for key transport projects such as: Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway; 4 projects to upgrade and expand National Highways 1, 13, 22, North - South axis road.
This is to speed up compensation, site clearance, identify affected households, prepare land funds and resettlement apartments, etc.
4 projects to upgrade National Highways 1, 13, 22 and the North-South axis road will be implemented under the BOT (build - operate - transfer) form according to Resolution 98 of the National Assembly.
According to the latest update from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City, these projects are expected to reclaim land from about 4,730 households, of which 2,452 households were cleared.

Successfully raising the 5,300-ton steel roof to the roof of Long Thanh airport terminal
On April 4, the Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board, together with the Vietur consortium, a member of the ATAD steel structure in coordination with subcontractor VSL (Switzerland), successfully upgraded the steel roof system of the Long Thanh airport passenger terminal to the top after more than 8 days, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety.
The process of upgrading the steel roof structure of the central steel roof of Long Thanh airport with a weight of about 5,330 tons began on March 27.
According to the Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board, raising the steel roof of the central passenger terminal is a particularly important task, deciding the progress of package 5.10 - passenger terminal.
Because the central steel roof structure system has a very large weight, the raising process of units uses a combination of pulling and pushing solution using a hydraulic shock absorber system; using a computer system to monitor the load and related problems.
