During the 3 days off (from 5 to 7.4.), the density of vehicles in Quang Ninh province increased.
On the roads, the traffic volume has increased dramatically, especially at the Cau Bach Dang toll station, where nearly 40,000 vehicles were recorded per day, more than twice as much as normal. Despite the great traffic pressure, the whole province did not experience serious congestion, traffic safety was maintained.
The authorities in the whole province have inspected and handled nearly 900 cases of violations of road traffic safety and order, fined nearly 3.5 billion VND. Of which, there were nearly 180 cases of alcohol concentration violations and 240 cases of speeding violations.
On waterways from the shore to the island and sightseeing routes on Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, the number of visitors increased sharply during the holiday. In Ha Long Bay alone, from April 5 to 7, there were 1,102 ships serving tourists, transporting 31,772 visitors, including 17,882 international visitors.
The island routes of Quang Ninh province, including the Bai Tu Long Bay tourism route, welcomed over 3,600 visitors.
On waterways, through patrolling and controlling, no violations were detected. The authorities have ensured traffic order and safety during the holiday.
