On April 5, the People's Committee of Bao Loc City announced a plan to handle assets on the land of the old Lam Dong II Hospital. This land is located on Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ward 1, Bao Loc City.
The land has an area of 25,702m2 with a long frontage on Dinh Tien Hoang Street, located right in the center of Bao Loc city.
Before 2019, this was Lam Dong II Hospital, managed by Lam Dong Department of Health. After the hospital moved to a new facility on Tran Quoc Toan Street, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee reclaimed and transferred assets on this land and assigned Bao Loc City People's Committee to receive, manage and use according to regulations on public assets.
At the time of handover, the remaining asset value on accounting books was nearly 14.8 billion VND.
According to the general planning of Bao Loc city until 2040 and the land use plan until 2030, this land is identified as medical land. In 2021, Bao Loc City People's Committee repaired this facility to serve the prevention of Covid-19 epidemic.
After the epidemic subsided, the land was assigned to the Bao Loc City Military Command for management and protection until now.
However, because the land has been abandoned for many years, the old buildings of Lam Dong Hospital II have seriously degraded, causing a waste of assets. Bao Loc City People's Committee said that in 2023, a business requested to introduce a location to implement an international general hospital project combined with a nursing home.
By the end of 2024, another enterprise in Hanoi also expressed its desire to implement two high-quality hospital projects. Among them, there is a project on this land.
However, the land has not yet had a land use rights auction plan approved by competent authorities. After the auction plan is approved, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee will publicly announce for investors to participate in the auction of land use rights.
Bao Loc City People's Committee is currently planning the urban subdivision of Ward 1 and the detailed planning of the land.
After these plans are approved, Bao Loc city will propose a plan to auction land use rights and assets on the land.
This is to attract investment in building a high-quality hospital on the land of the old Lam Dong Hospital II.
