On April 6, informing reporters, a representative of Cao Bang Power Company (PC Cao Bang) said that the relocation of power poles is being carried out at many different voltage levels, with a large workload and high technical requirements.
According to the review, to serve the construction of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway in Cao Bang province alone, it will be necessary to relocate 24 locations of the 110kV power pole.

Initially, the enterprise has carried out some tasks that do not require power outages, such as completing the installation of 1 waiting pole location, constructing 3 locations, and digging the foundation of 7 other locations. Of the total 22 110kV poles that need to be relocated, none have been completely relocated.
PC Cao Bang has registered a power outage schedule to relocate 9/22 locations of power poles between April 10 and 20 to serve site clearance in Thach An district.
According to the business representative, there are currently 2 new column locations that need to be relocated due to the need to expand the premises, these 2 locations are being designed by the investor.
For the 35kV medium-voltage line, the unit has relocated 14/91 locations and continued to implement the construction steps.

Of which, 9 locations have completed pillars, 10 locations are under construction and 27 locations are in the preparation stage. The company is continuing to urge construction units to complete the registration of the power outage schedule for implementation in April 2025. Also in this item, 31 more locations have arisen that need to be relocated due to site clearance adjustment.
According to research, there are two transformer stations (TBAs) that need to be relocated, Ban Dam and Hanh Phuc 1 substations, which have not yet been implemented because Ban Dam station is waiting for technical design adjustments.
Regarding the 0.4kV low-voltage line system with 176 locations that need to be relocated, the units are focusing on constructing temporary routes, ensuring that the construction progress of the expressway project is not affected.

Talking with reporters, Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen - Deputy Director of Cao Bang Power Company affirmed that the unit is closely coordinating with the project investor, organizing periodic meetings to discuss, supporting the construction unit in developing safety plans and measures, and at the same time organizing timely power outages according to construction requirements.
According to the assessment up to now, the progress of relocating the power system has not affected the overall progress of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway project, while ensuring a clearance for the route to be exploited later.
Due to its specific characteristics, the expressway project spans through many mountainous areas, cutting through medium and low voltage power lines. In addition, the pulling of wires requires waiting for the power outage schedule from the local Power Company and hydropower plants, affecting the progress of relocating the power grid and constructing the highway.
Cao Bang province is proposing that the Northern Power Corporation create conditions for negotiating technical plans for the locations of pillars and routes that need to be adjusted; at the same time, requesting the Northern Power System Control Center (A1) and the Power Companies of Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces to support temporary power outage procedures to speed up relocation progress.
