Many illegal medical examination and treatment facilities have been discovered and handled.
Through inspections and checks, many violations were discovered such as: Violating regulations on medical examination and treatment; violating regulations in the business of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, health protection foods and medical equipment...
Thanh Hoa authorities have fined 42 facilities for violations, with a total fine of nearly 600 million VND; revoked the right to use the practice certificate for a period of time for 10 individuals; suspended operations for a period of time for 9 facilities.
Facilities providing medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate were fined such as: "Incheon Healthcare", located at 15 Nguyen Can, Dien Bien Ward, Thanh Hoa City (fined 45 million VND); "EMC Healthcare", located at 4 Bui Khac Nhat, Dong Huong Ward, Thanh Hoa City (fined 45 million VND); Ha Thanh General Clinic, in Bac Son Ward, Bim Son Town (fined 90 million VND); Kang Clinic Aesthetics Company Limited in Thanh Hoa City (fined 70 million VND)...
To continue to rectify the above situation, recently, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province continued to issue documents requesting the Department of Health and related departments, branches, units, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to strengthen state management of private medical and pharmaceutical establishments; handle violations of establishments providing medical examination and treatment services for practical diseases.
Request the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to have specific measures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of management according to the characteristics of each locality; regularly organize reviews, inspections and checks on compliance with regulations and conditions on private medical and pharmaceutical practice, strictly handle violations.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of a district, town or city is responsible to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee if there is a private medical and pharmaceutical facility that is not licensed to operate in the management area, and a facility providing cosmetic and spa services performs services in violation of regulations.
It is known that one of the typical cases of disguised medical examination and treatment has been strictly handled such as: On March 10, 2025, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police initiated a case and prosecuted 7 subjects, to investigate and clarify the act of "Fraudulent to customers", which occurred at Gangwhoo Beauty salon, address at 11 Hoang Van Thu, Ba Dinh Ward, Thanh Hoa City.
