This year's city-level high school excellent teacher contest is for teachers teaching the subjects: Math, English and technology.
The contest took place from February 11 to March 4, attracting 105 teachers to participate. These are the most outstanding faces selected from more than 5,000 teachers who attended the school-level excellent teaching competition.
Each participating teacher will take a practical exam for 1 lesson and present 1 measure that has contributed to improving the quality of the contested subject.
The contest is an opportunity for teachers to share and exchange professional experiences, promote the emulation movement for good teaching, and contribute to improving the quality of education in the whole industry. At the same time, it motivates teachers to strive, improve themselves to meet the requirements of innovation, improve the quality of education, and develop their careers.

The age of teachers participating in this year's contest is 38.3. The oldest teacher is teacher Tu Trung, industrial technology teacher at Cao Ba Quat High School - born in 1968
The youngest teachers participating in the contest are teacher Ngo Phuong Anh, English teacher at Mac Dinh Chi High School and teacher Pham Tien Cuong, Math teacher at Huynh Thuc Khang High School (born in 2000).

Emphasizing the meaning and importance of the contest, and at the same time acknowledging and praising the efforts of the teachers and teachers attending the contest, the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said that the contest has great significance and importance, is the praise and acknowledging the efforts of teachers.
However, Mr. Cuong also noted that these are only the successes of a few lessons. The enthusiasm, dedication and pedagogical capacity of each teacher really need to be demonstrated in the following academic years.
"Teachers need to always strive to practice and try harder to affirm their talents and pedagogical qualities, contributing to promoting the teaching movement of each district and the capital's education sector to develop in quality and depth" - Mr. Cuong shared.
Mr. Pham Tien Cuong - a teacher at Huynh Thuc Khang High School shared that attending the contest and being honored is a joy and pride, motivation for him to continue to strive, constantly learn, and improve quality every hour of class.
"In the recent exam, I participated in teaching the "Dreight path program" of the Canh Dieu 10 book series. During the teaching process, I have closely followed theory to design lectures. Canh Dieu textbook is a very good source of support in my lesson design process.
In addition, I also looked up some sources in the Canh Dieu book resource reserve for this presentation. This is considered an easy-to-reach learning resource for both teachers and students" - Mr. Cuong shared.
